Specializing in invisible brain injuries & evaluations.
“I’m not here to build a case, I’m here to uncover the truth. My role is to objectively assess claims of brain injury using gold-standard tools and transparent methodology. With over 17 years of experience in behavioral forensics and neurophysiology, I bring a high threshold of rigor to determine if symptoms align with true impairment, or if there are inconsistencies, malingering, or non-injury-related causes.”
The Difference: Clinical evaluations aim to guide treatment, relying on patient self-report, therapeutic rapport, and subjective distress. In contrast, forensic evaluations are objective, evidence-based, and legally defensible. They are conducted with the understanding that findings may be scrutinized in court and must remain impartial, regardless of referral source. In forensic work, the evaluator is not a therapist but an independent expert trained to assess consistency across multiple data points, including performance validity, behavioral observation, neurocognitive testing, and, when applicable, EEG/ERP findings. This distinction ensures that conclusions are based on facts, not feelings, and can hold up under cross-examination. PTSD and exacerbated mental health issues.
Forensic Evaluations includes full evaluation and EEG/ERP objective findings,.
Our gold-standard mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) evaluation is designed to capture the full scope of cognitive, neurological, and functional impact, beyond what imaging alone can show. This evaluation includes:
This multidimensional approach ensures a legally defensible, clinically grounded report that reflects both the physiological and psychological effects of concussion. Whether the goal is to validate injury claims, rule out malingering, or guide treatment, this evaluation delivers clear, actionable insights..
For time-sensitive cases, expedited evaluations and report delivery are available upon request. This includes prioritized scheduling, same-week testing, and a finalized report within 5–7 business days. Due to the increased demands on clinical and forensic review time, an additional fee applies to expedited services. All rush cases are handled with the same level of precision, objectivity, and legal defensibility as standard evaluations, just on your timeline.
Due to the preparation, travel, and time commitment required, all court testimony is billed at a minimum of 8 hours, regardless of actual time spent on the stand. This includes time blocked from other clinical and forensic responsibilities, as well as case review and attorney collaboration. Additional hours beyond 8 will be billed at the standard hourly expert rate. Advance payment and signed agreement are required to secure court appearance dates.
Depositions are billed at a minimum of 4 hours, reflecting the disruption to scheduled evaluations, preparation time, and the need to remain available beyond the immediate deposition window. This policy ensures that expert time is protected and business operations are not compromised. Any time beyond the 4-hour minimum will have to be rescheduled if not reserved in advanced. Advanced payment required.

Dr. Rebekah Khan is a licensed professional clinical counselor and board-certified forensic mental health evaluator with over 17 years of experience conducting independent psychological and neurocognitive evaluations. Her practice is rooted in neutrality, objectivity, and scientific rigor.
As founder of 505 Forensic and a QEEG Diplomate candidate, Dr. Khan integrates behavioral science, EEG/ERP technology, and advanced psychometric testing to assess the presence, severity, and impact of psychological or neurological conditions in forensic settings. She does not provide treatment to individuals that are being forensically evaluated, maintaining strict boundaries to ensure impartiality. Whether retained to confirm or refute claims, her role remains the same: deliver clear, defensible findings based solely on evidence.
